“The 20k Giveaway” is an exciting opportunity for you to win up to $20,000 in a term deposit. There are also five smaller term deposit prizes of $1,000 each meaning you have a chance to win one of six great prizes.
How do I enter?
To be entered in “The 20k Giveaway”, simply book and attend a free qualifying appointment such as a review of wealth management investments at Prospera, a review of investments at another financial institutions along with a paper statement, or a discussion about first-time investing at Prospera.

No. Your appointment is completely free.
When is “The 20k Giveaway” contest running?
The contest runs from Monday, October 15, 2024 to Saturday, December 21, 2024.
I’m not a Prospera member, can I still enter?
Yes. Both existing and prospective members are eligible so long as they book a qualifying appointment. If you are a prospective member and are selected as one of the winners, you will need to open an account to claim your prize.
Can I make a virtual appointment?
Yes. Your appointment can be in-person at a local Prospera branch or virtual. To book an appointment, click here.
How many prizes are there?
There are six (6) prizes to be won:
Prizes are not eligible for substitution and must be accepted as rewarded.
- One (1) grand prize of a $20,000 1-year non-redeemable term deposit
- Five (5) $1,000 1-year cashable term deposits, fully redeemable with interest after 30 days of the initial investment.

Is there an age requirement?
Yes, you must be 19 years or older when entering the contest and a legal resident of BC. Existing Prospera members must be in good standing with Prospera Credit Union.
