Changes to account details and access

We’re updating our banking system and changing how your shares and registered accounts are displayed, aligning them with the members they belong to.

This change enhances our data accuracy and allows us to better serve our members, like you, in the future.

What do I need to do?

    • No action is required at this time
    • Your view in online banking and the mobile app will be updated to align with what you currently see on your account statements
    • You will only see the registered accounts like TFSAs and RRSPs that are in your name
    • You will only see your own $5 shares, instead of a combined balance of joint member shares

Below is an example of what you may currently see in online banking and the new view you will see as a result of the changes to shares and registered accounts.

In this example, the blue boxes show registered accounts and shares belonging to James, while pink boxes show registered accounts and shares belonging to Sarah and boxes showing both colours depict joint accounts. In the new view, James can now only see his joint accounts with Sarah, his $5 shares, and his RSP, while Sarah can see her joint accounts with James, her $5 shares, and her TFSA.
