Laurie Desautels

Biography

Laurie has more than 35 years of experience in technology strategy and digital transformation, most recently as a Managing Director at Strategy& (part of the PwC network). She is passionate about the human experience in the digital world, with a strong track record of bringing strategic, agile and human-centred solutions that create a great experience for members and employees. Laurie’s focus in recent years has included strategic and practical implementation of roadmaps for digital, customer experience and service modernization. Previously, she was VP, Professional Services at Kryos Systems, a boutique technical resource consulting firm, and Manager of eBusiness Development at Canadian Pacific Railway.

Laurie cherishes diverse perspectives, encourages innovation and is eager to inspire her teams leveraging our organizational values.

Working alongside our VP, Technology and IT Operations and all departments and lines of business, Laurie leads Prospera’s transformation to an agile, digitally mature organization. She oversees our digital maturity assessment and roadmap, establishing a clear vision for our digital future and implementing our digital transformation strategy, which is a key component of Catalyst. She also leads the establishment of an innovation program and has responsibility for creative problem solving.
