Biography
Kirsten serves as Chief Product and Strategy Officer with oversight of strategy development, product innovation, brand stewardship, marketing and member engagement.
She started at Prospera as the Vice President of Marketing and Member Engagement in September 2020 and joined the Executive Leadership Team in March 2022. Kirsten has more than 20 years of B2B and B2C strategy, marketing, change management and product development experience. Before joining Prospera, Kirsten owned her own consulting practice and acted as a marketing strategist and fractional Chief Marketing Officer for several financial services and technology companies worldwide. She previously held the roles of Chief Marketing Officer at Commonwealth Foreign Exchange, Global Marketing Vice President for Western Union Business Solutions and Director of Consumer Marketing at TELUS.
Kirsten holds a Bachelor of Science in Econometrics from the University of Victoria and has completed executive training, such as Governance Essentials at Rotman School of Business, The Women’s Leadership Forum: Innovation Strategies for a Changing World at Harvard Business School and the Strategic Thinking for the CXO from Cambridge Judge/Emeritus.
In addition to volunteering with local charities, sports organizations and events, she serves on the boards of The Prospera Foundation, Do Some Good, Collingwood School and Special Olympics BC.
