Ed Michielsen

Biography

Ed leads the Business Banking and Leasing teams, with responsibility for relationship, sales and portfolio management, operations, member and employee experience, financial results, as well as risk and regulatory management.

Ed joined Prospera in 2018 as VP and Head of Business Banking, then was the acting COO and Head of Business Banking. In 2020, he became VP, Business Banking for the merged entity, plus the local business division was added to his portfolio. In 2021, the two leasing divisions were added to his portfolio. Ed has more than 30 years of banking experience in retail, wealth, business banking, equipment leasing, credit department, merger and integration, and head office roles.
