Bob Atwal

Biography

Bob is a chartered accountant with more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, including in enterprise and operational risk, internal audit, finance and retail. He joined Prospera in August 2021 after several progressive positions at Coast Capital Savings, including Director, Retail Risk Advisory, where he led the development of Coast’s enterprise risk management framework and operational risk management framework.

Bob believes in continually enhancing processes and systems and has a passion for supporting our local communities. He was also the sponsor of Coast’s Multicultural Affinity Network, established to promote diversity and inclusion.

As a member of the Prospera Leadership Team, Bob oversees the development of our enterprise risk management framework to ensure our risk profile aligns with our Catalyst strategy and vision. He is also leading the expansion of our risk management strategy as it relates to compliance, security, legal and regulatory risk.
